We weren't sure how vinegar and peppers would pare together. However, after working the kinks out of our own recipe, we finalized our flavors using Malt Vinegar along side of Apple smoked Sea Salt. For the heat we selected the monster Komodo Dragon Pepper. The Komodo Dragon pepper is said to have a Scoville rating of 1.4 million. The first bite of one of these chips and you'll understand why we chose the name "Meltdown"
